First off, I would like to welcome you to the site. In person, I would shake your hand, get your name and hopefully remember it. Unfortunately, remembering names is something I am far from mastering, like most things in life. Obviously, writing is not high on the list either.
Hence the name, Noobtastic…
For those of you that have a short attention span, like me, I will give a summary of what to expect on this site. If you find it interesting enough, you can read past the fold for more.
I am learning, testing, researching, succeeding, and most importantly, failing daily. I will post those things on this site. I will post things that I am struggling with. Things that I am asked about. And the things I have learned along the way.
I get a lot of questions from people around me. No idea why people think to ask me because I just make stuff up constantly, but I guess they get some value. I will post those things here too. Obviously, anything I post will be anonymized to protect the innocent. If I have to anonymize to the point of it being pointless it will be scraped. Also, if you don’t want me to post what we talked about, I wont.
The point being, I am constantly learning, trying to better myself, trying to learn from others and doing my best to have a positive impact on those around me. I try tons of things in my professional life and fail more than 90% of the time. Some of those failures are pretty catastrophic (such as a comma taking down a whole site), other times the font looks strange for a few hours.
The purpose of this site isn’t to be about me. It is intended to serve a community of people who, like myself, are challenged daily. Challenged to find quality time to spend with their family. Challenged to be successful. Challenged to even define what success means to them. We all have the same basic needs and wants. Why not learn from each other and support one another along the way.
Over time, I will post more information about myself when I feel it is pertinent or provides important context for a point that I am trying to make or a thought I have.
